3 Home Improvements That Will Help Your Home Sell!

3 Home Improvements
That Will Help Sell Your House

When it comes to getting your house ready to sell, you don’t have to pour tons of money into remodeling your home. It’s mostly about fixing tiny little things that all add up to make your house seem much more valuable to potential buyers.

1: Fix the Things That People Can Easily Touch
When potential home buyers are touring a house, they’re not exactly sure what to do or what to look for, so they always end up messing with the little things: flicking light switches, opening cabinets, peering in closets, turning on faucets, etc.
It’s important to make sure that all sink fixtures, as well as door handles and cabinet handles, look shiny and new. If you can’t do this by cleaning it, just buy new ones – it’s a pretty inexpensive cost that ends up being worthwhile when it comes to impressing potential buyers.

2: Check on Leaky Faucets, and Have Good Water Pressure
People are likely to turn on your sinks and bath tubs, so make sure that you have good water pressure that will leave a lasting impression. Make sure there are no stains or rust on any of the bathroom appliances, and keep an eye out for leaky faucets. Bathrooms are the places in the home that people are especially wary, so having these look spick and span, and functional, can make a huge difference.

3: Steam Clean Your Carpets and Try a Fresh Paint Job
Sometimes carpets with stains turn off potential buyers immediately, even if they are easily removable. So set up a one-time appointment with a steam-cleaning carpet service, and make sure everything looks clean and fresh – you’d be surprised how much of a difference this can make. Be sure to also try some touch-up paint jobs. A clean, spot-free wall can go a long way.
Many people trying to sell their home end up spending thousands of dollars and racking up a huge amount of debt from trying to remodel their home in order to sell it – when all you need to do are a few cheap, inexpensive repairs.

Thinking of selling your home? I'm always here to help! Feel free to call or email me anytime! I look forward to earning your business!
