in the Charlotte Area

There will be many parades and tree-lighting ceremonies in the Charlotte area this week. 

Here is a schedule of the upcoming events!

Monday 12/2/13

*Belmont Tree Lighting: 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday 12/3/13

*Belmont Parade: 4 p.m.

*Morganton Parade: 6 p.m., on Sterling and Green streets.

Wednesday 12/4/13

*Mount Holly Parade: 4 p.m.

Thursday 12/5/13

*Fort Mill Tree Lighting: 7 p.m.

*Huntersville Nativity Festival: 10 a.m.-9 p.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7026 McIlwaine Road. Feature numerous nativity scenes.

*Wadesboro Parade: 4 p.m.

Friday 12/6/13

*Bessemer City Parade: 4:30 p.m.; on West Virginia Avenue; followed by festival until 8 p.m.

*Harrisburg Tree Lighting: 6-8:30 p.m., Veterans Park, 4100 Main Street.

*Huntersville Nativity Festival: 10 a.m.-9 p.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7026 McIlwaine Road.

*Lenoir Parade: 6:30 p.m.

*Rock Hill Parade: 6:30 p.m., on Oakland Avenue at Winthrop University to Main Street.

*Stallings Tree Lighting: 6:30 p.m., Stallings Municipal Park, Stallings Road.
